OOTD 41: In my Dark Times

Yes, this title is another reference to The Weeknd because I’m still bitter.

Friends – Summer Nat is officially gone! It’s been a long time since I’ve had my natural dark colour (this colour is the closest to my roots) and I’m really not used to seeing myself without ombre or highlights!

The other day I realized that leaving Toronto also means leaving my trusted experts behind, including my beloved hair stylist. It’s so hard to find someone you can trust with your hair, which is why I rushed to my stylist for my low-maintenance, natural colour that I can refresh whenever I return to Toronto. I’m sure Edmonton has a lot to offer, but I just know what and who I like!

The beauty of packing is that I’ve been uncovering all sorts of hidden gems in my closet, such as this zippered skirt that I picked up from Urban Outfitters during my UO-obsessed university days. Paired with one of my favorite black pumps (because let’s face it, we all own more than one pair of black heels) …

… and a swipe of one of my favorite everyday lip colours, and I was office-ready!

(I buy this lip colour in bulk and sharpen it to the ground. I highly recommend it!)

Overall, it has been a very hectic few days. I’ve been hustling to get everything packed and finalized. I can hardly believe I’ll be relocating across the country next weekend! Looking forward to tomorrow, Remembrance Day, because 1) nous prenons un moment de souvenir les soldats qui ont combattu pour notre liberté and 2) it’s a bank holiday, which means I get a day to myself to regroup! ❤ xo
