Tying the Nat: A Dream Wedding

The moment I turned 25, it felt as though the universe and all of its inhabitants had one pressing question for me:

“Nat, when are you getting married?”

While I don’t intend on marrying anytime soon – 30 is the new 20, after all – I’d be lying if I told you I haven’t thought about the Big Day. Let’s be real: Nat is 1) Type A and 2) an aspiring event planner. I got this.

You don’t have to be engaged (Exhibit: me) to know that planning a wedding is overwhelming. From guest-lists to venue; vendors to wedding party; ceremony to reception logistics; accommodations to giveaways…

Where would one even begin?

My suggestion:

A glass of wine. And a mood board (or two, or three).

So here I am, sharing little chic bits of inspiration that I feel are the makings of a perfect, fabulous wedding!

Theme: Modern Romanticism

In university, I studied a specialized stream of British Literature with a focus on Romanticism. My mood boards are inspired by one of my favorite poems , “How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43),” written by Elizabeth Barrett Browning:

This poem is all that love should be!

Here’s how I’d bring it to life, with the assistance of Google Search, of course ;).
